Aubrey D’Angelo

OLIVIA CHEYENNE MARION

Olivia Cheyenne Marion is the 17-year-old daughter of Luke and Amanda Hedrick of Philippi.  Standing 5 foot 8-inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes, Olivia is a senior at Philip Barbour High School.  She is a twirler for the Pride of Barbour County PBHS Marching Band and a completer in plant systems for FFA.   She is a member of Corley Church youth group where she assists with Operation Christmas Child, and the Mobile Food Pantry.  She is a Philippi Middle School Majorette Instructor. 

Olivia’s hobbies include spending time with family, attending church, camping, traveling, twirling, and playing the French horn.

Three words to describe Olivia are considerate, humble, and dedicated.

Upon graduation she plans to attend college to become a pediatric RN.

Olivia’s favorite thing about Barbour County is the closeness of the community whether it’s a helping hand, a shared laugh, or celebrating together at events and the beautiful nature our county has to offer.

When asked why she should be the next Miss Barbour County, Olivia says “I want to represent the county that I grew up in.  I want to inspire others to get involved, stay connected, and dive into everything our fair and county have to offer.  It would be an amazing opportunity to see the county in a different perspective-being able to see what goes into making our county great.”

KENDRA JOLEEN STALNAKER

Kendra Joleen Stalnaker is the daughter of Gregory and Angela Stalnaker of Philippi.   Standing 5 foot 11 inches tall with blond hair and green eyes, Kendra is a Junior at Philip Barbour High School where she is a member of the Swim Team having swam at the states the last two seasons.  She is also a member of the Tennis Team and a member of the Health Sciences and Technology Academy.

Kendra is a 7-year member of the Barbour Barracuda Swim Team and a certified lifeguard employed at the Philippi City Pool.  She has volunteer experience with Barbour County Health Association, Philippi Public Library, Barbour County Prosecutor’s Office, and teaching new swimmers with the county swim team.

Kendra lists her hobbies as playing tennis, swimming, drawing, and crafting.

Three words to describe Kendra are Spontaneous, brave, and determined.

Upon graduation, she plans to attend college to become a registered nurse.

Kendra says her favorite thing about Barbour County is the close knit and supportive community.  The Barbour County Fair is the perfect example of our community mindset here in Barbour County.  From the local food stands that support local causes to the fair parade that includes all our local schools and organizations and everything in between at the fair, the close community is the focus.

When asked why she should be the next Miss Barbour County, Kendra says “I care deeply about this community, and I would love to the opportunity to represent my community with pride and positivity.  Being the Barbour County Fair Queen is an honor and a great opportunity to give back to my community and inspire others.”

Aubrey D’Angelo

Aubrey D’Angelo is the daughter of Adam and Sarah D’Angelo of Belington.  This 16-year-old Junior at Philip Barbour High School has brown hair and hazel eyes and stands 5 foot 6 inches tall.  She is Treasurer of the Philip Barbour High School’s FBLA and a former Vice President.  She is also Reporter for the Barbour County FFA.  Aubrey is a part of her church’s youth group, and she works at Laurel Mountain Inn as a waitress. 

In her free time, Aubrey enjoys hanging out with friends and family, attending concerts, playing with her pets, reading, and helping around the farm.         

Three words to describe Aubrey are charismatic, funny, and faithful.

Upon graduation, Aubrey plans to attend West Virginia Junior College for their 18-month nursing program. 

Aubrey’s favorite thing about Barbour County is how the kind people who live in this county make it feel like home.  She enjoys knowing so many people when they come into the restaurant.  She loves the peaceful setting of Barbour County and how relaxed life is here.

When asked why she should be the next Miss Barbour County, Aubrey says “I carry myself with poise and dignity.  I believe everyone should feel welcome in their county and I feel as if I am the one who could help make that possible.”
