Aubrey D’Angelo

Aubrey D’Angelo is the daughter of Adam and Sarah D’Angelo of Belington.  This 16-year-old Junior at Philip Barbour High School has brown hair and hazel eyes and stands 5 foot 6 inches tall.  She is Treasurer of the Philip Barbour High School’s FBLA and a former Vice President.  She is also Reporter for the Barbour County FFA.  Aubrey is a part of her church’s youth group, and she works at Laurel Mountain Inn as a waitress. 

In her free time, Aubrey enjoys hanging out with friends and family, attending concerts, playing with her pets, reading, and helping around the farm.         

Three words to describe Aubrey are charismatic, funny, and faithful.

Upon graduation, Aubrey plans to attend West Virginia Junior College for their 18-month nursing program. 

Aubrey’s favorite thing about Barbour County is how the kind people who live in this county make it feel like home.  She enjoys knowing so many people when they come into the restaurant.  She loves the peaceful setting of Barbour County and how relaxed life is here.

When asked why she should be the next Miss Barbour County, Aubrey says “I carry myself with poise and dignity.  I believe everyone should feel welcome in their county and I feel as if I am the one who could help make that possible.”

2026 Barbour County Fair Queen Contestants

Emmah Carter

Emmah Carter is the 17-year-old daughter of Justin and Mystee Carter. She is a senior at Philip Barbour High School where she has been actively involved in athletics, academics, and agricultural education. She is a three-year member of the varsity soccer team, completed the Agriculture Program, and participated in FFA activities. She serves her community through volunteer work, community improvement projects, fundraising efforts, and mentoring younger students. Emmah’s hobbies include soccer, basketball, volunteering with youth sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Upon graduation, Emmah plans to complete the Adult Cosmetology Program at FETC and earn her Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Her favorite things about Barbour County are the local traditions, school spirit, and community pride. Emmah believes she should be the next Miss Barbour County because she is dedicated to serving her community, achieving academic success, and being a positive role model for others.

Camrie Nicole Goshert

Camrie Nicole Goshert is the 18-year-old daughter of Shannon Goshert. She is a Freshman at Pierpont Community & Technical College where she is working to earn her nursing degree. While attending Philip Barbour High School, Camrie was voted cheer captain by her peers and was a Big 10 All Conference 1st Team Cheerleader. Her community involvement includes Wreaths Across America, youth cheerleading clinics, community blessing box donations, church’s toy drive, all while being Shift Leader at Chick-fil-A. Camrie’s hobbies are physical fitness, baking, giving manicures, rescuing animals, and all things Disney. Three words she uses to describe herself are generous, gentle, and genuine.

Camrie’s favorite thing about Barbour County is “the community working together to create valuable memories for all ages.”

Camrie believes she should be the next Miss Barbour County because “after years of traveling around our state, I understand the importance of fairs and festivals to our communities.”

Kendra Phillips

Kendra Phillips is the daughter of Roger and Patricia Delauder. She is a Junior at Philip Barbour High School, where she serves as the Lead Majorette of the Philip Barbour Band and the Communications Officer for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). In her free time, Kendra enjoys helping coach the Strutters Baton and Dance Team, sharing her passion for dance and mentoring younger performers. After high school, Kendra plans to attend West Virginia University, where she hopes to major in Child Psychology and pursue a career helping children grow, learn, and succeed. She is dedicated to leadership, school involvement, and representing her community with pride, positivity, and enthusiasm. Her sponsors include Strutters Baton and Dance Team and Stout Farm.

Elizabeth “Izzy” Knotts

Elizabeth “Izzy” Knotts is the daughter of Dennis Jr. & Tracy Knotts. The granddaughter of Dennis Sr. & Wanda Knotts of Tucker County and Richard and Donna Jo Marsh of Barbour County. She has one brother Harley Knotts. Izzy is 17-year-old senior at Philip Barbour High School, where she is a member of the National Honor Society and maintains A Honor roll status. A dedicated multi-sport athlete, she has earned numerous individual and team honors in volleyball and basketball at the local and state level. Outside of school athletics, Izzy is actively involved in 4-H and has spent many years exhibiting livestock projects across WV, earning numerous county and state awards. She is a member of the New Hope Valley Church, Barbour County Livestock Association, Kasson Willing Workers 4-H Club and is employed at Meadow View Farm Supply in Thornton, WV.

In her free time, Izzy enjoys spending time with friends and family, raising livestock and attending jackpot shows across the state and riding side-by-sides with friends. She also enjoys participating in 5K races. Her favorite ways to relax are camping and taking lazy float trips down the Cheat River.

Carlee Foy

Carlee Foy a 16-year-old senior at Philip Barbour High School and proud Barbour County native, has announced her candidacy for Miss Barbour County. She is the daughter of Melissa Foy and Jason Foy both of Phillipi. A dedicated student and accomplished twirler, Carlee was a member of National Technical Honor Society and earned her Certified Medical Assistant Certification through Fred W. Eberly Technical Center. Outside of school and her achievements, Carlee enjoys spending time with family, friends, being outdoors, shopping, baking, visiting coffee shops and traveling. As a candidate, Carlee is honored to represent her hometown community and looks forward to celebrating the traditions, memories, and hometown pride that make the Barbour County Fair so special.

Olivia Gray

Olivia Gray is the 16-year-old daughter of Wesley and Crystal Gray. She is a junior at Philip Barbour High School where she is a member of the Golf Team and is on the Principal’s Honor Roll. She attends Philippi Baptist Church, is a member of Young Life, and Instep Dance. Olivia’s hobbies include dancing, golfing, reading, attending and participating in Young Life, and spending time with family and friends. Three words Olivia uses to describe herself are kind, loyal, and leader.

Upon graduation, Olivia plans to attend West Virginia University and earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing and become a pediatric nurse.

Olivia’s favorite thing about Barbour County is how welcoming the people of the community are. Everyone knows everyone and is always willing to help in any way. She believes she should be the next Miss Barbour County because she strives to represent the values that make our community special.

Madison Lantz

Madison Lantz is the 17-year-old daughter of Tracey Lantz. She is a senior at Philip Barbour High School where she is an honor student. She serves as Class Secretary, Vice President of the National Honor Society, and she attended West Virginia Girls State 2026. Madison volunteers at Heart and Hand Garden Market where she enjoys helping local families and giving back to her community. She is also training her dog to become a certified therapy dog with the goal of providing comfort and companionship to individuals in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and community organizations.

Madison is involved in Taekwondo where she is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and serves as a Taekwondo instructor, mentoring and teaching younger students. Three words she uses to describe herself are compassionate, determined, and leader.

After graduation, Madison plans to attend a Radiologic Technology program and become a registered Radiologic Technologist.

Madison believes she would be an excellent representative for Barbour County because she strives to lead with integrity, compassion, and service.

Jaycie Price

Jaycie Price is a senior in the Class of 2027 at Philip Barbour High School. She is actively involved in soccer, 4-H, and the Prostart program, where she has developed valuable leadership, teamwork, and culinary skills.

Outside of school, Jaycie enjoys cooking, baking, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She values the strong sense of community found in Barbour County and enjoys giving back through her involvement in school and community activities.

After graduation, Jaycie plans to pursue a career as a registered dietitian. She is passionate about nutrition and helping others live healthier lives through education and healthy eating habits.

As a contestant, Jaycie is honored to represent her community and hopes to serve as a positive role model by demonstrating kindness, determination, and dedication. She is proud to call Barbour County home and looks forward to using this opportunity to encourage others to follow their dreams and make a difference in their communities.
